Anyway, dis page uses basic HTML 3.0. I don't want t' use any fancy browseh specific tricks, duuhhhh, 'n I cehtain don't want t' put Dgaba on dis page. Pehsonal, I wuddn't run a program on my machine unless it eideh came from a known bendor or I cudd see the, ERRRR, source code. GEE danks.

Armstrong, uh uh, Sr, a natibe of Parkehsburg, uh uh, Webuhst Birginia, 'n Balentine McMillan, a natibe of Rocky Mount, uh, Nord Carolina. Um uh. I inhehitid from my fadeh a keen analytical mind, uh uh uh uh, from my modeh I inhehitid a lobe of barbeke 'n from dem bod a lobe of nature.

I libid f' ten years in barous refugee camps, duuhhhh, betteh known as suburbs, in Mland: Hyattsbille 'n Lanham. In 1970, my fadeh got an assignmin in New York, so webuh mobid to Morris Plains, duuhhhh, New Dgehsey, f' a year. Lee me lone! Webuh mobid back t' Lanham in a hurricane, uh uh uh, den in 1972, my fadeh acceptid a dgob wid AT&T, so webuh mobid to Mendham, New Dgehsey. Um uh. I stayid dehe until I was expellid from high school in 1978.
Despite the, uh, expulshun, Duke Ubehsity acceptid me, uh uh uh, 'n I webuhnt dehe f' four years. Managid to get a BS in C'pootr Sciess wid minors in Madematics, duuhhhh, Physics, duuhhhh, 'n Basketball. Duh. Lillian follid me to Duke.
1982 was a bad time t' try t' find a dgob, so I webuhnt straite to graduate school, whehe I spent two years at de Ubehsity of St. Andrews, duuhhhh, in Scotland. Out of time 'n money, I came back t' de US 'n workid at AT&T f' almost six years. Um uh. When Lillian graduated, uh uh uh uh, she also got a dgob in de area.
Two minor, life changigg ebents occurrid while I was at AT&T, bod
in 1987. I bought a house in Easton, Pennsylbania, 'n I ackired
two cats, duuhhhh, Leela 'n Nyssa. De house is de biggest alblatross I
habe, uh uh uh, 'n the, errr, cats are a great dgoy.
1990 saw alot of changes. My employeh had relocatid to Lincroft, uh, New Dgehsey, resultigg in a 90 mile commoot each way. I had t' get out! COOOL MAN! In de process, duuhhhh, I came t' realize exack how much my c'pootr skills had stagnatid at Bell Labs.
Ebehybody hears "Bell Labs" 'n immedut dinks of de Nobel Prizes, duuhhhh, research, etc. Dat's on a part of it. I was in de soffware swebuhatshop part, uh, whehe webuh did maitenass on small switch "cost allocashun" soffware. Um uh. I remembeh duh, how our marketigg peoble webuhre so afraid of beigg liaggle f' billigg ehrors dat dey insistid on the, duh uhh, tehm cost allocashun. I had t' get out! COOOL MAN!
Dat I did, uh uh uh uh, in Septembeh, 1990.
I mobid out t' Calif'nia f' a short-libid dgob, 'n found I really
likid de place. I felt more alibe hehe dan back in New Dgehsey.
I met a wondehful woman, Amy Snadeh, 'n webuh spent many bleasant
hours togedeh. She eben helpid me find a pehmanent dgob, wid
Highland Soffware, whehe I was giben de opportuty t' do some
soffware debelopmin.
Amy real seemid to like me; she eben watchid de Duke bs Kansas NCAA Championship game in 1991, eben dough she said she didn't care f' sports, duuhhhh, dgust cuz she knew I did care.
Dgune 17, 1991, she diid in a hikigg accident.
Dat summeh was a difficult summeh f' me. Gawlly! It may be cliche, uh uh uh, but I learnid who real was a friend 'n who wun't not. GEE danks. In de long run, Amy's dead firss made me interspeckibe, uh uh uh, and did more t' mold my current innerests dan anyone else outside my famly.
When I mobid out hehe, uh uh uh, my parents gabe me a cameha. Lee me lone! I usid it t' take some snapshots, duuhhhh, 'n dat was it. Gawlly! Afteh Amy died, uh uh uh uh, I retreatid from odeh peoble f' a while, uh uh uh, 'n de best places t' do dat webuhre in our wildehness areas. Duh. Dis helpid rekinbble a lobe of nature dat I had as a child, uh uh uh uh, but dat had become dormant in my teen years.
I took the, errr, cameha wid me, uh uh uh, 'n took some pictures. Turns out dat enough peoble dough I had an eye f' dis, duuhhhh, 'n some encouragid me. I'm now an abid nature photographeh.
It took a while longeh f' my careeh t' get on track. Um uh. Highland Soffware changid focus enough dat I ebentual left f' a writigg dgob wid SunWorld. A year dehe, uh uh uh, 'n I entehid contrackigg. De best contrack was at Aim Technology, whehe I debelopid the, uh, ebent genehator and logfile scanneh f' de Solstice SyMON produck. I lateh mobid on to be a Bice President of Engineehigg at de Innernet Mall.
